while we are entering a new world of greater development of new technologies, in manufacturing, transportation, and Medical Care, our ability to access these new developments are hugely hindered by old and outdated modes of delivery, that are only circumvented by those who are able to pony up the cash payments to access them… this is leading to a society of haves and have-nots…. the Utopian top 10% and their 10% feudal support workers who benefit from close ties to the top, and the remaining 80% who live in the developing Dystopian Society that are truly at the bottom rung…

Yep. It is spot on to say that if the FDA won’t change it’s ways and allow patients to try promising new drugs, patients will break the law to get access. I know several people who go to other countries to get access to drugs that have been used with success in that country, but the FDA will not approve it for use here until it undergoes it’s arbitrary and outdated clinical trial design. They bring the drugs back to the USA illegally and use them here. And I don’t blame them one bit. The FDA will change or they will be ignored.
