On the we user also select the endpoint: a page.
Your argument about substancial processing is misleading, as nowadays telecoms are doing the same processing if it’s a voice call, or a webpage: IP won. That’s why VoIP and VoLTE exist in the first place.

But the most important flaw in your arguments is that priority over the lanes is good when it comes traffic classes. Not endpoint entities that might have paid extra to slow down their opponents traffic.
