For those of you who don’t read the variety of interesting posts over at Cato@Liberty – you really should broaden your horizons – I thought I’d briefly review some of the tech-relevant posts I’ve had over there recently. Most of them relate to the REAL ID Act:
- Is the UK National ID Card in Collapse? Will the U.S. REAL ID system soon follow? Could be.
- Does fake ID save lives? In Iraq, of all places?!
- Ready to pay more for longer lines at the DMV? Your federal government at work.
But others deal with more general topics:
- Does law or technology solve problems better? Video voyeurs don’t want to know.
- Can government bureaucrats solve computer problems? Perhaps the solution is to dissolve bureaucracies.
- Double-digit broadband growth is coming to an end. As it must!
Thanks for tolerating this cavalcade of cross-posting.
