For those here who don&#039;t know, the purpose of ALEC to corrupt state legislators -- giving them free vacations and then sending them home with boilerplate legislation to enact, in return for this largesse, in their own states. Having it take a stance on &quot;network neutrality&quot; regulation may, alas, encourage ethical people to do exactly the opposite of what it advocates.&lt;/p&gt;
