Companies also frequently change the product being bought, or market the same product under separate trademarks.  I think the most accurate portrayal of trademarks is really an investment of advertising into a logo and jingle.  The positive associations of the audience seem to be more enduring than the production, the owners, or the product itself.&lt;/p&gt;
