Screw verizon they dug up to much stuff at my house and ruined my lawn. And after doing some research i found that verizon only runs their fiber optic lines from the curb to your house all their other lines from their hub are run with COAX cables. Comcast runs fiber optic lines from their hub to the curb and than runs the coax cables to your house. I'm going back to comcast....

um yeah...FioS is still rolling out to differant markets. About 50 percent of the people here in my area HATE comcast but can't switch cause FioS isn't hear yet....plus in certain areas Comcast is a monopoly...so really there is no choice.

Verizon FiOS is certainly a very interesting technology, the way of the future. And I benefit from it because every time Verizon hooks up a FiOS user it buys a router from my employer. But Verizon only has 1 million FiOS customers, while Comcast has over 12 million. So Comcast must be doing something right.
