If they're not using subversive tactics to wipe out competition, it doesn't matter. And throwing a built in media player into Windows isn't what I call subversive. But then again, neither is adding IE. Windows gives out Moviemaker and Sound Recorder for free too, but that doesn't make a difference to the people who build the real, functional thing. RealMedia is hands down the worst of the major formats for streaming media. I can't even count the number of times that I have heard low end RealMedia and could barely tell what was being played.
