After all, the original CDDB wouldn't have existed if not for the voluntary contributions of millions of users who would tediously enter information <em>into</em> the database, free of charge. It was almost like a game of who could enter the latest (or most obscure) albums into the database first. And then next thing you know, this "community" tool was telling users "thanks for the data" but we think we'll turn this into a business now.
